EARLY Mindfulness Daily @ Work registration is OPEN: Forty guided sessions. Ten to fifteen minutes a day. Taught by Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, two of the most respected mindfulness teachers in the world. Staff get 78 days to finish, so a missed day, or even a missed week, won't set anyone back.

Express Cart Food for Home | Now Available for the 2026-2027 School Year!
Express Cart, in partnership with the Food Services Department and the Food Bank of the Southern Tier, is an Instacart style food program for Elmira families needing a central order and pick up service for family groceries. There is no cost to families for this program.

Join Us This Evening as Five Elmira Legends Join Elmira Athletic Hall of Fame!
Elmira City School District families, alumni and community members are invited to join Express Athletics tonight at 6 p.m. at Elmira High School as five outstanding former student-athletes are welcomed into the Elmira Athletic Hall of Fame during halftime of the home football game.
The 2026–2027 inductees are Alexus Boorse (EHS Class of 2018), Jacob Parfianowicz (EFA Class of 2013), Loren (Sayers) Green (EHS Class of 2016), Bryan Stark (EFA Class of 2004), and Gavin Wise (EHS Class of 2018). “
The Hall of Fame is an opportunity to bring generations of Elmira athletes and our community together to celebrate the people who helped build the proud tradition of Elmira athletics. We invite our families, alumni and fans to join us tonight as we recognize these five outstanding inductees.

Beginning September 22, 2026, we are pleased to re-open community swim for this school year from 7:15 AM to 8:15 AM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The program will run through Thursday, May 6, 2027. The cost remains $3 per person, which helps cover the expense of providing lifeguards.

Don't wait—register early to make sure you're ready for the first day of practices and tryouts. All student-athletes must complete their registration through FinalForms. If you're a returning family, simply log in to update your information. New families can create an account and complete the required forms online.
Student-athletes must have a valid sports physical on file before they are eligible to participate in school athletics. The Elmira City School District is offering sports physicals in August, although students may also receive their sports physical from their own physician, nurse practitioner, or other qualified healthcare provider.
